Job Description

Wood Technician (m/f/d) at Nexus Innovations

Nexus Innovations offers a comprehensive training program in the field of wood technology, focusing on the development of skilled wood technicians. As a wood technician, you will be responsible for working with various types and properties of wood and wood-based materials, ensuring high-quality production and precision in woodworking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distinguish between different types and properties of wood and wood-based materials
  • Determine the moisture content of wood and select materials according to production specifications
  • Produce precise components through sawing, planing, milling, and sanding
  • Inspect created parts for quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Select connection and construction fittings and test them for functionality
  • Assemble components and work with CNC-controlled machines
  • Set up tools and equipment and perform maintenance and repair work

Requirements:

  • Strong interest and skill in craftsmanship, especially in relation to the material wood
  • Good secondary school or high school diploma
  • Teamwork, diligence, and sense of responsibility
