Responsibilities:

- The Sales Territory Leader in Training position is a comprehensive 6-9 month development program designed to equip you with the skills needed for a fast-tracked career as a PepsiCo Sales Leader.
- Upon successful completion of the program, you will advance to the role of Territory Manager, overseeing a team and territory with annual sales ranging from $40-70 million, and managing 5-10 District Sales Managers who lead teams of 5-8 Route Sales Representatives. You will engage directly with customers, providing essential leadership and guidance to exceed sales and growth targets, utilizing effective relationship-building techniques.
Key Activities:
- Transform regional and national objectives into actionable district and route-level plans to meet product volume goals.
- Address complex customer issues and participate in regional planning discussions, ensuring alignment with zone sales strategies.
- Actively mentor and develop managers to enhance performance.
- Communicate strategic plans to Sales and Service leaders through regular meetings and one-on-one sessions to keep them informed and motivated.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers to formulate key account strategies and address sales gaps.
- Analyze product business units, provide accurate forecasts, and identify strategies to optimize performance.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with each manager to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Set clear expectations, demonstrate managerial skills, and manage performance for continuous improvement.
- Empower and develop the Sales and Service teams.
- Establish achievable objectives, leveraging data and tools to guide the sales/service teams.
- Implement training and development programs for the sales/service teams.
- Support a positive work environment, safety culture, and mentorship initiatives.
- Prepare for and engage in regional team planning processes.
- Set productivity and service targets, measuring performance to ensure accountability among Customer Service managers.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The anticipated compensation range for this role is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.
- Actual starting salary will be determined by location, job-related skills, and experience.
- Performance-based bonuses are available, with a target payout of 15% of annual salary.
- A company vehicle is provided as part of the role.
- Paid time off is available, including parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
* 1-2 years of sales leadership experience
* Proven ability to lead and influence large multi-level teams
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
* Minimum age of 21
* Department of Transportation (DOT) certification required
* Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

- Experience in Food/Beverage, DSD/Retail sectors.
- Demonstrated skills in sales and customer leadership.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Proficient in managing financial outcomes.
