Surgical Technologist for Travel Assignments

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist for travel assignments to support our operating room team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures across various specialties.
Certification Requirements- BLS Certification
- CST National Certification is not mandatory
- Must be registered with the appropriate state authorities
- Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
- Possession of a valid state license at the time of application
- Specialty: Operating Room Technician
- Number of Surgical Suites: 22, with potential expansion to 26
- Average Daily Cases: 50-65
- Common Surgical Procedures: GYN, Urology, Vascular, Plastic, Orthopedic, Neurological, Cardiovascular, Thoracic, General Surgery, and more.
- Minimum of one year of experience in surgical scrubbing
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Experience with ENT procedures is preferred
- Davinci XI experience is required
- 4-10 hour shifts, with variable days and start times from Monday to Friday
- Typical start times include 0630, 0900, or 1100
- No self-scheduling; consistent start times maintained for the week
- Specific days may have later start times for training and meetings
- On-call requirements include one call per four-week schedule
- Weekday on-call begins at the end of the shift until 7 AM the following morning
- Weekend on-call is a 24-hour commitment, scheduled by management
- Response time for on-call is 30 minutes, with call room availability
- Support from Charge Nurse and House Supervisor
- No weekend or holiday on-call obligations
- No floating requirements between units
- Provided scrub color: Teal
- Orientation includes HR and OR leadership, along with hands-on training
- Our medical team is highly supportive and eager to share knowledge
- Traveling staff often extend their assignments due to positive experiences
