We are seeking a Travel Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team at Providence Swedish First Hill Campus. This role is essential in providing exceptional surgical services across various specialties.

Certification Requirements
  • National Certification: NBSTSA required
Job Responsibilities
  • Specialty Areas: Surgical Services
  • Licensing: Active WA license is mandatory
  • Experience: Open to candidates with less than 2 years of experience and first-time travelers with relevant skills
  • Patient Demographics: Must be comfortable working with pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Required Experience: General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, Podiatry, ENT, Dental, Pediatrics, Plastics, Maxillofacial, Gynecology, Thoracic, Bariatric, Pulmonary, Urology, Vascular, Endovascular/Hybrid, and Transplant (Liver, Kidney)
  • Essential Skills: Proficiency in Ambulatory OR, Teaching Hospital, Trauma (preferred); General OR, Bariatrics, Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Thoracic, Transplant, Urology, Vascular, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, and Scrub (required)
Job Requirements
  • Experience: Must possess vascular and thoracic experience
  • Certifications: BLS, IAHCSMM
  • Flexibility: Willingness to float to other units and campuses as needed
Schedule Information
  • Call Shifts: Three weeknight call shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM and three weekend call shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM on a 6-week rotation
  • Response Time: Call response time is 30 minutes
  • Floating: Required to float to other units and campuses as qualified
