Certified Surgical Technologist for Travel Assignments

Nurses First Solutions is currently seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for an exciting opportunity.
Position Overview- Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist

- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Shift: 10 hours, flexible
- Employment Type: Travel
The role involves preparing the surgical environment by ensuring all essential equipment, supplies, and instruments are ready and in optimal condition. The Surgical Technologist will assist the surgical team by providing instruments, sponges, and other necessary items during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and adjust instruments and equipment as required.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room by adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room and positioning them on the operating table.
- Support the preparation and application of sterile dressings and bandages.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records of supplies and equipment utilized.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment post-surgery.
