We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team at Setpoint Systems Corporation. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing current customers and bringing in new customers to build a profitable and rewarding base of loyal customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Pursue new, retrofit, and upgrade/expand building automation/system integration projects through assigned mechanical contractor and consulting engineers.
- Develop relationships with prospective contractors and consulting engineers, and prepare all proposals and bids following Setpoint Systems' processes, procedures, and standards.
- Perform contract negotiations in consultation with other departments using creative and persuasive methods to develop appealing and competitive bids.
- Maintain regular contact with newly added and known company contractors, consultants, and end-users, and lead regularly scheduled lunch-and-learns on Setpoint Systems products and services.
- Estimate all projects utilizing the Company estimating system and procedures, and provide input to the improvement of the estimating system.
- BA or BS in Business, Engineering, or related field strongly encouraged.
- 2+ years' experience in building control systems.
- Working knowledge of DDC, electric, and pneumatic control systems.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
