Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and competitive Account Manager to join our sales team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing current customers, pursuing new business opportunities, and developing strategies to meet customer needs and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services.
  • Pursue new business opportunities through assigned mechanical contractors and consulting engineers.
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids, following Setpoint Systems' processes and procedures.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, utilizing creative and persuasive methods to develop appealing and competitive bids.
  • Lead regular sales calls, meetings, and presentations to promote our services and build relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reporting on proposal activity, sales call activity, and sales disposition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in building control systems, with a strong understanding of DDC, electric, and pneumatic control systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Desired qualifications include LEED GA/AP, CEM, PE, or association with ASHRAE.
