Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our housekeeping department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run sold room reports and verify room status to determine discrepant rooms and prioritize room cleaning.
  • Assist housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinate efforts with other departments, including engineering, front office, and laundry.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the front desk and prepare and distribute room assignments to housekeeping staff.
  • Record, monitor, and update the list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms and ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.
  • Assign rush rooms and rooms previously on the 'Do Not Disturb' list and complete required housekeeping paperwork.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
