Industrial Equipment Technician

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Graphic Products. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling industrial printers according to established specifications and instructions.
Essential Functions:
- Perform assembly of printers using hand tools and power equipment.
- Conduct pre-assembly activities such as sub-parts assembly preparations and parts quality checks.
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
- Utilize various equipment to perform day-to-day tasks.
- Re-stocking parts, materials, and supplies.
- Receive, unload, unpack, and transfer materials to different workstations.
- Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard conditions to supervisor.
- Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high-quality products.
- Perform installation, repairs, parts inspection, replacing out-of-spec parts, and refitting as required.
- Conduct printer printing performance testing and record results in a database.
- Packaging printers that have passed QA for shipment.
- Maintain work areas clean, safe, and orderly.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and in groups.
- Ability to use hand tools, crimpers, wire cutters, etc.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings and wire diagrams.
- Takes initiative, reliable, on time, positive attitude, and works well with others.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently.
- Temperature-controlled warehouse.
- Moderate noise levels.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Occasional periods of prolonged standing.
Estimated Salary Range: Starting at $18/hour ($37,440/year) based on 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM schedule.
