Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Journeyman Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems in the United States.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling units, including filter cleaning, coil cleaning, and thermostat calibration.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in HVAC systems.
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems, as well as repair and replace damaged or worn parts and equipment.
- Inspect and maintain refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps.
- Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems, adjusting and calibrating internal electrical and electronic control systems as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in HVAC or related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 5 years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry.
- Valid driver's license and insurable by company insurance carrier.
- Possession of valid EPA refrigerant license and low voltage electrical card.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and stand, crawl, sit, and squat for extended periods.
- Estimated annual salary: $85,000-$105,000, depending on location and experience.
