Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Thursday
  • Full-time, 4 ten-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance physician effectiveness by identifying and addressing patient care issues; providing relevant information and recommendations; executing physician directives.
  • Evaluate patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and comprehensive medical history assessments.
  • Identify abnormal conditions by conducting or ordering diagnostic tests; alert the attending physician of any irregular results.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, surgical, and vascular lab teams.
  • Ensure continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans under physician supervision.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established procedures and regulations.
  • Formulate comprehensive treatment strategies for patients with venous insufficiency under physician guidance.
  • Assist in medical procedures as directed by the attending physician.
  • Educate patients on treatment options and assist with scheduling.
  • Engage in patient communication as necessary.
  • Prepare letters of medical necessity for insurance purposes.
  • Comply with all legal and professional standards by staying informed on relevant legislation and ensuring adherence.
  • Participate in continuity of care initiatives, including follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
  • Train new clinical staff as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve center objectives.
  • Assist in community outreach events as needed.
  • Attend regular team meetings.
  • Process medical instruments and waste according to standards.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety policies.
  • Utilize effective customer service skills in all patient interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management or clinical leadership.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Current Physician Assistant license.
  • At least 2 years of relevant PA experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
