Role Overview

The Strategy team at T-Mobile for Business collaborates with executive leadership to shape the strategic direction of the business. We are seeking an innovative thinker with a strong analytical background who can tackle customer challenges to foster growth and innovation. Your role as a Senior Portfolio Strategist will be pivotal in analyzing market dynamics and formulating a strategic approach for the TFB portfolio, aimed at driving substantial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects, partnering with internal stakeholders to identify critical business challenges, conduct in-depth analyses, and influence strategic decisions.
  • Perform market sizing and analysis to uncover growth opportunities and potential product initiatives.
  • Develop actionable recommendations and assess their implications for the business.
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate complex insights.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to leadership.
  • Build financial models to support decision-making processes, including market share and revenue projections.
  • Evaluate product alignment with overall business strategy and assist in solution assessments.
  • Contribute to sales training and marketing materials as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive consensus and inspire organizational change.
  • Craft tailored messaging for diverse audiences, summarizing performance metrics and growth strategies.
  • Support strategy leads with various project deliverables as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to deconstruct complex issues using a structured approach.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable with data triangulation for market estimation and financial modeling.
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and understand their implications.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a passion for exploring new technologies and market trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at clarifying complex situations.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or related fields requiring quantitative analysis and executive communication.
  • Experience in B2B, product strategy, or telecommunications is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.

Travel Requirements

Travel may be required for this position.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $129,700 - $234,000, with a corporate bonus target of 20%. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including location, qualifications, and experience.
