Job Overview:

The Tax Advantaged Solutions Portfolio Manager (PM) within GWIM CIO Portfolio Management is integral to a team overseeing CIO direct indexing portfolios. The PM's responsibilities encompass rebalancing, executing trades, and monitoring portfolio performance. Additionally, the PM collaborates with advisors and clients on strategic initiatives, transition plans, and managing the various stages of portfolio transitions in accordance with established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct the execution of investment strategies aimed at fulfilling the objectives of client accounts while adhering to investment policy guidelines.
  • Operate both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Essential Qualifications:

Key Skill Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of modern portfolio theory, equity risk models, and mean-variance optimization.
  • Proficient in conducting quantitative analysis on extensive datasets utilizing tools such as Excel, Tableau, R, Python, or C.
  • Familiarity with API programming in R or Python is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of investments, taxation, and operational processes essential for client service.

Required Experience:

  • Over 5 years of experience in quantitative portfolio management and trading, specifically utilizing equity risk models and mean-variance optimization. Experience with direct indexing portfolios is a plus.
  • A minimum of 8 years in the financial services or investment sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; a graduate degree in a STEM discipline or Finance/Economics is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
