We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive patient care by employing established nursing practices and protocols for individuals across all age groups. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Demonstrating proficiency in understanding the behavioral, developmental, and psychosocial aspects of patient care.
- Evaluating, communicating, and documenting the condition, pain levels, and concerns of patients.
- Conducting thorough admission assessments.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- A minimum of one year of experience as an acute care RN in a hospital environment (National Certification is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
- Compassionate, adaptable, and a strong team player.
- Eager to learn, with strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to float between units and/or facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care through the application of established nursing practices.
- Conduct accurate and timely admission assessments.
- Assess and document patients' pain levels following appropriate protocols.
- Prioritize and document patient issues based on assessed needs in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Develop and implement care plans in partnership with other healthcare professionals to promote wellness and facilitate discharge.
- Monitor and document patients' conditions and the effectiveness of care interventions.
- Regularly evaluate and update care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA is required.
- Completion of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) within the last year is required.
Work Complexity:
- Willingness to work across multiple facilities.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in an Emergency Department setting.
Physical Demands:
- Requires full range of motion, including lifting and handling patients, as well as manual dexterity.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Medium Work - Involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Adheres to Standard Precautions and utilizes personal protective equipment as necessary for procedures.
