We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
- Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred
- A minimum of one year acute care hospital RN experience
