California State University San Marcos invites applications for a part-time lecturer to teach SLP 642: Supervised Clinical Experience Children/Adults II during the summer of 2025. As an Instructional Faculty, you will contribute to the Department of Speech-Language Pathology's mission by providing high-quality education and training to students.

The ideal candidate should possess a master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and have expertise in working with individuals with communication disorders. California State License and ASHA CCC's are also required. A doctorate degree with an emphasis in Communication Sciences and Disorders is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and intercultural competence with diverse groups.

This position involves teaching SLP 642, which focuses on developing competence in diagnosing and treating various communicative disorders in children and adults through supervised practice. The course includes activities such as case history review, interview, test administration, data analysis, treatment plan design, oral and written report presentation, and treatment implementation.

The successful candidate will receive a salary commensurate with their degree level and experience. Anticipated Hiring Salary Range is $2,203 - $2,670 per Weighted Teaching Unit (WTU), while the CSU Classification Salary Range is $1,101 - $6,084 per WTU.
