Position: Front Desk Supervisor

Overview:

The Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting Front Office Management by delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests throughout their stay. This position is essential in maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in managing front office operations to ensure high standards of service.
  2. Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience.
  3. Monitor and address VIP and special guest requests to enhance guest satisfaction.
  4. Maintain effective communication with team members and other departments to foster a collaborative work environment.
  5. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures to promote safe and efficient operations.
  6. Train and mentor new hires and existing staff to uphold service standards.
  7. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. A valid driver's license is necessary for this role.

Physical and General Requirements:

The role requires flexibility in working hours and the ability to stand for extended periods. Candidates must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with guests and team members effectively. The ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities is critical to meet operational needs.
