Sales Coordinator

Hourly Compensation:
$24.00/hour, plus Commission. This role is eligible for additional incentives, including a 401(k) match and comprehensive health and welfare benefits.

Work Schedule:
Onsite, Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Position Overview:
National Funding, a rapidly expanding and well-established fintech organization, has launched a new digital lending initiative aimed at small businesses.

The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting our sales team and ensuring exceptional customer interactions.

This position primarily involves inside sales activities, focusing on identifying sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound communication with potential and existing clients.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the sales process, addressing customer inquiries, providing information about loan applications, collecting necessary documentation, and presenting all relevant details to the credit team to facilitate a smooth credit approval process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify sales opportunities through inbound inquiries and outbound outreach.
  • Handle a high volume of calls efficiently.
  • Build rapport with customers over the phone, fostering trust through responsive service and understanding their needs.
  • Provide knowledgeable and insightful answers to customer questions to encourage completion of the application process.
  • Gather complete and accurate customer information and enter it into the designated database.
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions in the designated database.
  • Follow communication protocols and promote our offerings in a professional and transparent manner while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed about our products and services to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
  • Engage in ongoing training to remain updated on industry trends.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all customer personal information and company records.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales support, ideally within the fintech or financial services sector.
  • Ability to perform basic calculations and handle numerical data.
  • Strong attention to detail with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus; proficiency in MS Office is required.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Able to collaborate across various levels of the organization and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Willingness to work weekends as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work in a temperature-controlled office environment.
  • Sit at a desk for extended periods while using multiple computer monitors.
  • Occasional lifting of boxes weighing 5-10 lbs.
