Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety, and driving our mission to create innovative food systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Collaborate with our farm-to-table program to source fresh, seasonal ingredients and create menus that showcase our commitment to sustainability.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing culinary team, fostering a culture of open communication, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Participate in menu planning, recipe development, and inventory management, driving innovation and excellence in our culinary offerings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of full-service restaurant experience, with a strong background in kitchen operations and management.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, products, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and dining holidays, with a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
  • Physical stamina to perform the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
