Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee internal investigations into employee relations violations, ensuring compliance with City of Dallas policies and procedures.
- Produce high-level reports using internal software and systems, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Research, compile, and analyze evidence, documenting all interactions with complainants, accused parties, and witnesses.
- Draft comprehensive investigation reports, including findings and recommendations for administrative decision-making.
- Develop and facilitate training on workplace matters for City of Dallas leaders and employees.
- Manage the case management system to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in employee relations, investigative reporting, or mediation/arbitration.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business/Public Administration, or a related social science field.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet service level agreements for timely investigations.
- Exceptional communication skills, including active listening and clear, concise report writing.
- Ability to remain objective, unbiased, and maintain confidentiality.
