Position Overview
This is an Entry-Level position (0-3 years of experience). Please note that sponsorship for employment visa status is not available for this role.

The Operations Technology team is dedicated to creating and implementing IoT solutions that align with our vision for manufacturing renewal. As an IoT Solutions Engineer, you will lead regional IoT initiatives, leveraging your expertise to develop innovative solutions that facilitate information management and enhance operational efficiency across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement IoT technology projects focusing on asset condition monitoring, vision systems, AI, machine learning, and data processing to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Assist in the testing and development of potential IoT solutions prior to regional deployment.
  • Track and report on project progress using metrics, proactively addressing any challenges that arise.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience or education in manufacturing control systems, including network design and embedded systems.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL, with a basic understanding of HTML and JavaScript preferred.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and confirming project activities.
  • Ability to present updates effectively to various management levels.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly to the management team.
  • Familiarity with IoT sensor technology in a manufacturing context.

Working Environment

  • Completion of all required manufacturing safety training and use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
  • Willingness to work 5-10 hours of overtime weekly.
  • Occasional travel for training and meetings may be required.
  • Collaboration with peers across various teams and plants is essential.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts based on business needs.
