We are in search of a results-driven, hands-on engineering leader to oversee and guide teams focused on developing platforms that facilitate on-chain tokenization, including Stablecoins.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide both technical and business direction, defining long-term strategies and ensuring the successful execution of blockchain and tokenization software and systems that are both scalable and dependable.
  • Take ownership of and deliver on the roadmaps for multiple initiatives while promoting technical and operational excellence throughout the engineering division.
  • Mentor and support the professional and technical growth of your team, including both managers and engineers.
  • Offer hands-on technical guidance.
  • Promote and instill engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Ripple and within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
  • Establish team objectives and quarterly plans aligned with business and organizational goals.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into tailored communications for diverse audiences, including engineers and business leaders.
  • Expand the team by attracting and mentoring exceptional leaders and engineers at various experience levels.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience in software development leadership, managing teams and managers.
  • Strong leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Practical experience in constructing highly scalable distributed systems using modern technology stacks.
  • Experience in developing open-source software and contributing to open-source tools and libraries.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, emphasizing robust software design, scalability, and security.
  • A collaborative mindset with a positive attitude and a passion for knowledge sharing within a diverse team.
  • A technical expert who provides leadership and shares knowledge with a growing team of engineers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
