Job Summary:

One Inc is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineering Team Lead to lead our Production Support team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our ClaimsPay platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a global team of software engineers and quality engineers.
  • Collaborate with Production Support engineering teams to understand and monitor work queues for Continuous Improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to documenting engineering best practices while ensuring team adherence.
  • Collaborate with Security team to ensure on-going PCI compliance of platforms.
  • Create and manage Key Performance Indicators to ensure that we are continuously raising our standard of engineering excellence.
  • Manage relationships with third party supply chain Vendor Partners while driving accountability of performance.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Partners to identify and drive the implementation of Continuous Improvement to enhance Reliability and Performance.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to ensure that all platform capabilities that are Critical to Quality are instrumented and measured.
  • Serve as the Engineering lead for escalated events that create client disruption. This is inclusive of driving the identification of root cause and implementing preventative measures.
  • Develop and advocate for technical architectures that solve complex performance issues.
  • Work in a consultative fashion to improve communication, teamwork, and alignment among teams inside and outside of the organization.
  • Lead design and code reviews for remediated code. Participate in code reviews for new product development.
  • Drive strategic technology initiatives that enhance operational excellence and reliability by collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, SMEs and the broader One Inc organization.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to remediate testing gaps that may lead to defects escaping to production.
  • Influence and contribute to end-to-end technical product architecture.
  • Analyze and provide feedback on product strategy.
  • Provide input into long-range product requirements, standard methodologies, and operational guidelines, with focus on continuous improvement of platform reliability and serviceability.

Requirements:

  • Expert in PHP, C#, .NET Core, Azure.
  • Experience with cloud native architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in TDD, Domain Driven Architecture, CQRS, Design Patterns, and Clean and Secure Coding Standards.
  • Expert in SugarCRM.
  • Experience working as a software engineer in insure-tech or fin-tech space with demonstrated success at designing for high volume, scalability, and availability.
  • Ability to independently craft and deliver large complex projects.
  • Large scale implementations of Cloud Native Solutions, Containers, Microservices.
  • Mastery in multiple programming languages and platforms.
  • More than 10 years of software development experience.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g., Scrum), Scaled frameworks desirable.

Leadership and Influence:

  • 10 years experience in the Information Technology arena, with at least 3 years of management in this field.
  • Ability to work with a cross functional team of developers, architects, and security analysts to remediate issues while implementing sustainable technology changes.
  • Ability to provide mentoring and coaching to team members to support their understanding of architecture and aid in their technical development.
  • Ability to create and monitor Key Performance Indicators that are used as a basis of continuous improvement.
  • Ability to build an environment for transparent and open discussion of all issues.
