Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Risk Evaluation Specialist to join our team at Munich Re. As a key member of our Underwriting department, you will play a critical role in providing timely and high-quality technical risk evaluations to support our equipment breakdown insurance product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough technical risk evaluations to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Inspection Services, Claims, and new product development teams to drive business results
  • Develop and maintain expertise in equipment knowledge and drive learning back through our business units
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or equivalent work experience
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or PE credentials required
  • 0 to 5 years of experience in design, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, or operations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
