Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough analysis and risk evaluations for new business opportunities in the Medicare Advantage sector.
2. Engage in increasingly complex tasks as technical expertise develops.
3. Collaborate with mentors and managers to propose pricing strategies and alternatives grounded in financial analysis, underwriting principles, and overarching business strategies.
4. Utilize underwriting tools, systems, and reference materials effectively to create precise new business proposals.
5. Apply underwriting guidelines and escalate any exceptions or financial discrepancies for assigned cases to the appropriate authority.
6. Support sales teams by clarifying strategies, rate development, and communicating underwriting policies.
7. Generate timely and accurate documents tailored to customer needs, along with case-related information.
8. Assist the department with various projects or workgroups.
9. Identify opportunities for process enhancements through automation or procedural changes.

Compensation
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 19.50
Maximum: 38.99


This range reflects the compensation for all positions within the job grade applicable to this role.

Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to apply analytical and independent thinking skills.
- Demonstrated success in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in delivering clear and concise written and verbal communications.
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with underwriting tools or data analytics.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with others to meet or exceed expectations.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
