Assistant Nurse Manager

The Assistant Nurse Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in our Medical/Surgical Pulmonary Renal Hospitalist unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and administering various aspects of our unit's operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division to develop and implement policies, programs, and services that align with our hospital's mission and vision.
- Mentor professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care, focusing on excellence, compassion, and patient-centered care.
- Facilitate patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay, ensuring seamless coordination and care.
- Provide leadership and direction to unit-based staff, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of unit-based goals and objectives, working collaboratively with other service and department leaders.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
