Assistant Nurse Manager

The Assistant Nurse Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in our Medical/Surgical Pulmonary Renal Hospitalist unit. This position requires strong leadership and coordination skills, with a focus on administrative management, financial duties, and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division to develop and implement policies, programs, and services that align with the hospital's mission and departmental/unit vision and philosophy.
- Mentor professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care, facilitating patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay.
- Provide leadership and direction to unit-based staff, ensuring that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers, including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services, and collaborate with other service and department leaders to achieve short- and long-term goals and objectives.
This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills, with a focus on administrative management, financial duties, and operational responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
