Assistant Nurse Manager

The Assistant Nurse Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the nursing team, this individual will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and implementing administrative and operational duties to support the hospital's mission and departmental/unit vision.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division to develop and implement policies, programs, and services.
- Mentor professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care and facilitate patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay.
- Provide leadership and direction to unit-based staff, ensuring that competent and compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers, including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the hospital's mission and departmental/unit vision and philosophy.
- Collaborate with other service and department leaders to attain short- and long-term goals and objectives.
This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare operations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the nursing team.
