Assistant Nurse Manager

The Assistant Nurse Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the nursing team, this individual will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and administering various aspects of patient care, including administrative management, financial duties, and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division to develop and implement policies, programs, and services that align with the hospital's mission and departmental/unit vision and philosophy.
- Mentor professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care, facilitating patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay.
- Provide leadership and direction to unit-based staff, ensuring that competent and compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers, including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services, ensuring alignment with the hospital's mission and departmental/unit vision and philosophy.
- Collaborate with other service and department leaders to achieve short- and long-term goals and objectives.
This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare operations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and compassionate individual who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the hospital's mission and values.
