Junior Automation Systems Engineer
Job Overview
The selected candidate will gain familiarity with Fori Automation's product offerings and subsequently travel to client locations to deliver Service & Technical assistance. This includes troubleshooting, repairs, installations, maintenance, and training on various types of industrial automation systems.
Service & support activities will be conducted both on-site at client facilities and in-house at company-owned locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Field service and commissioning support for industrial machinery.
- Assist clients and local technicians in diagnosing equipment issues.
- Debugging and servicing of electrical components.
- Conduct end-user training on equipment operation.
- Programming and troubleshooting of PLC-based systems.
- Programming and troubleshooting of HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems.
- Develop new PLC and HMI applications according to client specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Mechatronics degree programs may be considered.
- Knowledge or education in programming languages such as VB, C / C++, or C#.
- Understanding of electrical circuits, schematic interpretation, design, and troubleshooting.
- Mathematical proficiency in geometry and trigonometry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating system and PC applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.
- Willingness to travel - approximately 70% of the time.
