Job Title: Service Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling service opportunities to customers, ensuring they have all necessary spare parts, and organizing health assessment trips. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing management or sales experience in an automation environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell service opportunities to customers for equipment in use at their facilities.
  • Work with customers to ensure they have all necessary spare parts.
  • Organize and plan health assessment trips.
  • Responsible for completion of all health assessment documents and reviewing with customers.
  • Responsible for putting together a quote for all health assessment items to share with customers.
  • Plan service requests for customers who call requesting service.
  • Responsible for on-time initiation of invoicing on all sold service jobs.
  • Work with customers to sell training opportunities.
  • Organize and plan sold training opportunities.
  • Work with the sales department to put in spare parts and health assessment opportunities in quotes.
  • Assist project managers with installation plans and quotes.
  • Coordinate outside installation/service resources, negotiate rates, and schedule as required.
  • Assist in the quoting process for service/installation.
  • Responsible for equipment installation/kits, lineup/buyoff lists prior to shipment, and assist with installations when required.
  • Follow up with the engineering department on field changes.
  • Assist with daily customer requests.
  • Participate in meetings with project managers and department supervisors to line up installation plans and review open issues prior to shipment.
  • Assist with local service calls and installations as required.
  • Supervise installation, de-bug, and buyoff activities at customer locations when required.
  • Work with site managers to ensure proper flow of daily activities at customer locations.
  • Backup to the service manager for hotline calls and vacations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Two-year business degree preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be proficient in using Epicor within 2 months of having this position.
  • Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing management or sales experience in an automation environment.
