Net Revenue Analysis Senior Specialist

This position is accountable for directing, coordinating, and engaging in financial evaluations, accounting practices, forecasting, and reporting functions. The individual will autonomously organize and oversee both unique projects and regular tasks. This role includes mentoring, training, and reviewing the output of assigned departmental personnel, serving as a mentor and a resource for their professional growth. Additionally, this position acts as a direct resource for operational management regarding financial evaluations and compliance regulations.

Educational Background
Required - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred - Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or another advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional Experience
Required - Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare finance or a related sector, including two years of experience managing project-related, multi-task responsibilities with a professional team, experience in prioritizing, organizing, and coordinating multiple assignments under tight deadlines, often in a high-pressure environment, and experience working independently.
Certifications
Preferred - Certification as a Public Accountant or actively pursuing certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Proficient computer skills and dexterity necessary for data entry and retrieval of patient information. Must be adept with Windows-style applications and keyboard functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally to various levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Oversees the special project assignments of the team as directed by management for both internal and external consulting through financial reporting.
- Assists in reviewing monthly financial statements for variances in variable expenses, identifies trends, and provides recommendations to leadership.
- Develops, generates, maintains, and monitors customer service surveys, employee morale assessments, performance management statistical reports, and key performance indicators, graphs, and reports for global business services, along with individual project management logs.
- Communicates pertinent information to team members and leadership to ensure accurate analysis and engages in quality assurance activities.
- Promotes quality improvement by implementing professional standards, collecting and analyzing quality assurance data, participating in interdisciplinary quality assurance teams, and developing quality control measures through effective sample audits.
- Supports departmental objectives and engages in professional development activities.
- Performs other related duties as necessary.
Stays informed on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, or regulatory agency requirements applicable to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations, and standards.

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements exceed those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.
Mechanical lifting devices (carts, dollies, etc.) or team lifts should be utilized.
Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, and grasp with arms and hands, demonstrating manual dexterity.
Must be able to sit for extended periods.
Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue, and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
There is no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.
Because the incumbent works within a healthcare environment, there may be an occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning, and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
