Bakery Clerk Job Description

Festival Foods is seeking a skilled Bakery Clerk to join our team. As a Bakery Clerk, you will play a key role in creating memorable moments for our guests by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest receives a high-quality bakery experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our guests, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Bakery Operations: Assist in the preparation and presentation of bakery products, including decorating cakes and other custom items.
  • Merchandising: Maintain a clean and organized bakery area, including shelves and display cases.
  • Food Safety: Ensure that all bakery products are handled and stored in accordance with food safety protocols.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other bakery team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements:
  • Customer Focus: Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
  • Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Safety Awareness: Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, and frequent exposure to extreme temperatures.
