Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our guests, answering questions and making recommendations on our bakery products.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our bakery products, including ingredients, preparation methods, and nutritional information.
- Merchandising: Maintain a visually appealing bakery display, restocking products as needed and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Food Safety: Adhere to food safety protocols, maintaining accurate records and ensuring product freshness and presentation.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other bakery associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Customer Focus: Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
- Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills.
- Safety Awareness: Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
Work Environment:
The Bakery Clerk will work in a fast-paced bakery environment, standing for extended periods of time and frequently near moving machinery. Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures may be required.
