Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Fast Food team member to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food in a fast-food/casual setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests promptly and warmly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Take food orders and efficiently relay them to back-of-the-house staff, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
  • Communicate effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and all special requests are addressed and accommodated.
  • Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner, relaying relevant information to supervisors as needed.
  • Cook fast-food items in compliance with all safety and safe food handling standards, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Perform light cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping, to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
  • Keep equipment, work area, and facilities clean and in order, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion, ringing all items sold and obtaining customer signatures.
  • Responsible for all assigned change, funds, and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
