Job Summary

The Miami Rescue Mission Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at our Broward Outreach Center in Hollywood, FL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance workers in the performance of general maintenance tasks, including repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA guidelines and building codes.
  • Manage and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance supervision or a related field.
  • Valid Florida driver's license.
  • Knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read blueprints, write reports, and communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
