Role Overview:
As a Customer Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to accurately assess customer parts needs, generate competitive pricing proposals, effectively relay this information to clients, and manage order processing through our internal systems.
Working in conjunction with engineering teams and following established guidelines, you will be instrumental in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Your duties will also include conducting necessary research and liaising with various departments such as Engineering, Service, Controls, Sales, Shipping, and Manufacturing as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding support to our esteemed customers and dealers, ensuring their inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
- Leverage your knowledge to identify the correct parts and create precise and competitive quotes based on customer specifications.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth coordination and fulfillment of customer requests, aiming for optimal satisfaction.
- Process parts sales orders accurately and efficiently to guarantee timely delivery.
- Proactively follow up on quotes and orders, keeping customers updated on progress and addressing any concerns.
- Work closely with the external sales team to provide comprehensive support and effectively meet customer needs.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, thoroughly determining their requirements and conducting research to provide suitable solutions.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams, promptly notifying supervisors of inventory shortages, and actively participating in resolving issues related to breakdowns, incorrect parts, replacements, returns, and warranties.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Fluency in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience in the mechanical or machinery industry is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently while managing workload effectively.
- Proficiency in operating general office equipment including telephones, computers, calculators, photocopiers, and scanners.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
