Position Title: Front Desk Manager at WoodSpring Hotels
As the Front Desk Manager at WoodSpring Hotels, you will oversee the operations within the lobby and front desk area, ensuring that guests receive exceptional customer service that aligns with WoodSpring Hotels Brand Standards. In the absence of the General Manager, you will take charge of the team and prioritize tasks effectively.
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise all front desk operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs, room assignments, payment processing, and overall guest services.
- Act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of other staff members and manage emergency situations efficiently.
- Ensure prompt and courteous service to uphold high standards for guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Inspect guest accommodations and public spaces to guarantee adherence to Brand Standards.
- Address guest complaints or issues while maintaining a professional atmosphere.
Essential Functions:
- Manage guest check-in/out processes, room reservations, and billing procedures.
- Provide leadership and training to the team, maintain knowledge of hotel policies, and respond to guest inquiries.
- Conduct bookkeeping tasks, respond to emergencies, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
- Enhance guest satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and addressing concerns promptly.
- Support team members in delivering outstanding customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is advantageous.
- 2-5 years of experience in guest services within the hotel industry is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in computer systems are essential.
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and strong problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to stand, walk, sit, and perform various physical tasks.
- Visual acuity, mobility, and the ability to lift moderate weights.
