Position Overview:
Dana Safety Supply is on the lookout for skilled Outside Salespersons to manage the Billings MT Market. This role involves overseeing all facets of the sales cycle within a designated area, fostering and nurturing daily business connections with existing clients while also seeking to establish new partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and public safety organizations.
- Stay informed about Dana Safety Supply's product offerings and develop effective sales strategies for new items.
- Conduct regular sales visits to assigned clients within your territory.
- Actively seek out leads, manage potential clients, and secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to ensure the territory's growth objectives are achieved.
- Serve as the primary contact for end-users and work closely with management to set, track, and meet sales targets.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and competitive activities, responding as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Review orders for accuracy in pricing and content.
- Complete necessary reports and documentation promptly in line with company policies.
- Participate in training sessions and sales meetings, and assist in setting up and dismantling trade show displays.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in outside sales (industry experience is advantageous).
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Willingness to attend trade shows and other sales-related events.
- Ability to travel extensively, spending approximately 75% of the time visiting clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of product offerings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.

Work Hours:
- Minimum of 40 hours per week, or as necessary to achieve sales objectives.

Travel Requirements:
- May include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
