About the Role

Fandom is a leading platform for fans, with over 2.5 billion page views and 300 million monthly users. As a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management, you will lead a team of Technical Program Managers and help build the web experience on our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Technical Program Managers to deliver technical programs and products.
  • Define and deliver important programs with broad organizational, business, and technical impact.
  • Mentor, train, and enable TPMs to identify and solve systemic, organizational-wide problems.
  • Partner with product management and engineering to define needs that support strategic planning and execution.
  • Design and execute process and strategy frameworks that facilitate product-related goal setting, decision-making, and business impact.
  • Articulate technical requirements, goals, and milestones to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Perform risk and change management on projects.
  • Influence program/product direction and simplify complexity.
  • Bring robust, data-driven, and strategic technical judgment to decisions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of software industry experience, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
  • 4+ years of people management experience leading teams to deliver technical programs or products from inception to delivery.
  • Strong program management skills with technical and business acumen.
  • Ability to provide technical transparency to audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to lead and influence without authority to drive consensus on project goals.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation, and organizational skills.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
