Job Description

Capital One is seeking a Senior Director of Technical Program Management to lead our Program Delivery Office (PDO) team within Associate Experience Technology. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for executing on key strategic programs and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical programs and drive business results
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute on key strategic programs
  • Develop and implement program management strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of technical program managers
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to program managers and teams
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leadership and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)
  • At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs
  • Strong technical background with experience building highly scalable platforms, products, or services
  • Experience building and leading a world-class team of technical program managers
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and influencing skills
  • Quantitative approach to problem-solving and a collaborative implementer of holistic solutions
