Insurance Account Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Account Manager to join our team at General Search & Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years insurance experience and possess strong communication skills, both written and oral. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to Sales Executives, including analyzing client needs and coverage forms.
- Complete applications and submit them to eligible carriers, following up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
- Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items, verifying their accuracy and forwarding them to clients with appropriate correspondence.
- Determine if direct or agency billing is appropriate and invoice accordingly.
- Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals for word processing as needed.
- Process renewals in coordination with Sales Executives according to agency procedures.
- Review audits of policies, verify accuracy, and facilitate corrections between clients and carriers.
- Verify policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary.
- Process incoming mail and phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately.
- Process cancellations requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution, maintaining agency financial equity whenever possible.
- Assist clients in submitting first reports of claims, facilitating prompt response from carrier staff, and following up on claims status according to agency procedures.
- Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverages in coordination with Sales Executives.
