Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to implement restorative nursing techniques that enhance the resident's current capabilities, promote autonomy rather than reliance, and reduce the adverse impacts of disability, all while maintaining a perspective of practical optimism under the guidance of a restorative nurse.

Authority Delegation

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you are entrusted with the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability essential for executing your designated tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assisting patients with daily living activities, including meal delivery and toileting assistance.
  2. Ensuring patient hygiene and comfort.
  3. Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs.
  4. Providing general supportive care to patients.
  5. Responding to patient inquiries and determining appropriate actions to assist them.
  6. Helping patients or residents with tasks such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the restroom, walking, or standing.
  7. Transferring, turning, or repositioning hospitalized patients as needed.
  8. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to create treatment plans and monitor patient conditions.
  9. Keeping accurate records of fluid and food intake, as well as urine and feces output, and reporting any irregularities to medical staff.
  10. Assessing patients to identify any medical issues.
  11. Listening to and observing patients to assist with their complaints or physical symptoms.
