Role Summary
The Host plays a crucial role in providing a warm welcome to patrons entering the dining establishment, managing seating arrangements, and offering guidance as necessary. This role embodies the hospitality of our venue, ensuring guests receive attentive and courteous service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival at the restaurant

• Inform guests about wait times, table availability, and accommodate their party sizes, ensuring a positive experience

• Oversee the seating plan and restaurant layout to ensure equitable table distribution among servers

• Support restaurant staff in clearing and resetting tables as required

• Express gratitude to all guests upon their departure

• Engage in daily cleaning tasks to maintain restaurant cleanliness

• Keep the host station organized and tidy

• Inspect menus for cleanliness and sanitize them after each use

• Ensure all lounge menus are current and accurate

• Comply with hotel standards, policies, and procedures

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications


• Must be at least 18 years old

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in guest services is advantageous

• TIPS Certification is a plus

Additional Insights

Supervision Structure
Given: This role does not involve supervisory duties.
Received: Operates under the direct oversight of the Restaurant Manager, with tasks assigned based on established procedures and regular checks on work performance. Guidance and support are readily available.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Regularly work in humid, hot conditions for prolonged durations and may need to navigate slippery or uneven surfaces. Must be capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs, either independently or with assistance.
