Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Limelight Hotels. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and register guests, presenting statements and collecting payment for departing guests.
  • Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to fulfill guest requests.
  • Select and block rooms for arriving guests, book same-day reservations, pre-register guests as required, and sometimes escort guests to their rooms.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.
  • Receive payment from and check out hotel guests.
  • Work closely with the guest services agents to coordinate the smooth and efficient handling of guest luggage at both check-in and check-out.
  • Follow baggage tagging procedures and ski storage procedures.
  • Deliver messages, packages, or other items to guest rooms or other areas of the hotel expeditiously, placing in designated areas.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the Lobby and Luggage storeroom.
  • Create unique baskets or special amenities for special guests.
  • Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations.
  • Recommend restaurants and activities to guests.
  • Make change, post charges, reconcile daily work, and make deposits.
  • Communicate with guests and coworkers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or high school equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of customer/guest experience preferred.
