Guest Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Representative to join our team at Stonebridge Companies. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently and accurately process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
- Guest Communication: Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, providing solutions and resolving issues as needed.
- Room Assignments: Assign rooms to guests, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of room keys and access cards.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions, maintaining accurate records and balancing the cash drawer.
- Switchboard Operations: Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and relaying information to guests as needed.
- Emergency Procedures: Be aware of and respond to emergency situations, such as fires or medical emergencies.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess a high level of knowledge about the hotel's amenities, services, and policies, as well as local attractions and events.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of college or technical school preferred.
- Experience: One year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluency in English required; bilingual or multilingual skills a plus.
The Guest Services Representative will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with guests and colleagues on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-oriented setting, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Physical DemandsThe Guest Services Representative will be required to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 15 pounds. The ability to work in a standing position for extended periods is essential.
