Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supervisory Grants Management Specialist to join our team at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). As a key member of our Hazard Mitigation Division, you will play a critical role in managing grants and overseeing programs to support disaster recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to stakeholders on grant programs and policies
  • Administer and manage grants in accordance with relevant requirements and regulations
  • Lead and manage projects and teams performing grants management related work
  • Coordinate programmatic reviews and participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with program requirements and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in grants management and a proven track record of leading teams and managing projects. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a CORE (Cadre of On-Call Response/Recovery Employee) member, you will be required to deploy with little or no advance notice to support emergency response and recovery efforts. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card and be willing to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
