Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality mental health care to patients in a cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct screening, diagnosis, and formulation/implementation of treatment plans for mental health patients
- Document patient care in their permanent medical record in accordance with accepted medical/legal standards
- Consult with other department providers regarding treatment plans
- Perform case management through triaging and referrals, reporting to other providers, and contact with outside agencies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Two years of clinical experience
- A Master's level degree or higher (e.g., M.S.W., M.S., M.A., M.Ed.)
- Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (Washington) within 6 months of hire OR equivalent credentials from other states
The following skills and qualifications would be beneficial:
- Thorough knowledge of psychosocial diagnostic categories and treatment approaches
- Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- Working knowledge of legal requirements for reporting abuse, homicidal threats, etc.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000, depending on experience and location. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary.
