Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Engineer/Manager:

  • Play a crucial role in the company's growth by identifying and developing new client relationships and projects.
  • Exhibit strong project management skills, including the development of project scopes, budgets, and timelines, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects within set parameters.
  • Oversee staffing and task distribution throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely project completion.
  • Manage project finances, adjust team workload as necessary, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Demonstrate expertise in municipal engineering, covering areas such as sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water systems, and site civil design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer with the intention to obtain a State of Washington PE license within six months of employment.
  • More than 12 years of proven experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
  • Strong background in technical leadership, mentorship, and project management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and active participation in our employee-driven culture.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
  • A demonstrated history of success in multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and/or Revit.
  • Master's Degree.
  • Project management training, PMP certification, or similar technical leadership credentials.
  • Experience with wastewater process modeling software like BioWin.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic modeling tools such as Innovyze, Bentley, and/or Visual Hydraulics.
  • Active engagement in professional organizations.
  • Established client relationships and professional networks.
