In this role as a Civil Engineer, PM, you will be instrumental in shaping resilient engineering solutions for critical infrastructure. We are seeking a dedicated individual to lead multidisciplinary design teams focused on water and wastewater systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for municipal clients, managing projects of varying complexity while adhering to established engineering standards.
  • Interpret specifications and drawings, suggesting design modifications, and coordinating with the design team.
  • Lead planning, technical studies, and design initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive plans, specifications, cost estimates, and necessary permit applications.
  • Assess alternatives, resolve technical challenges, and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
  • Oversee construction management services.
  • Engage in marketing efforts to attract new clients.
  • Enhance Tetra Tech's visibility through involvement in professional and community organizations.
  • Ensure project execution is safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant with regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in the municipal engineering sector.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Washington State and/or Oregon is required, or the ability to obtain it within six months.
  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Experience in delivering technical and business presentations.
  • Proven ability to plan, scope, and coordinate large-scale projects with complex features.
  • Demonstrated success in preparing key proposals and managing profitable client assignments.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and strategic planning processes.
  • This position may require occasional travel, approximately 15% or more.
Compensation:

Seattle Salary Range:

Project Manager: $130,000-$180,000, based on experience and portfolio.

Senior Project Manager: $160,000-$200,000, based on experience and portfolio.
